Top 3 Gahanna Neighborhoods with Great Value:
The Top 3 neighborhoods I’ve chosen are all located in Gahanna, which has been named an Ohio Magazine Best Hometown, one of the best places to retire by Black Enterprise Magazine and was listed among the top 100 places to live by Money Magazine. Along with all these accolades the city also boasts a premier school district with 7 elementary, 3 middle, and 1 high school all of which score a B+ or higher according to Niche. So whether you’re choosing the home to start a family in, shopping for your starter home, or just looking to downsize the three neighborhoods below offer the perfect opportunity for all three of these options! Check them out:
Located between Agler and McCutcheon Rd, this neighborhood is close to it all. Offering homes that range from 150k up to 250K, the average home in this neighborhood features 3 bedrooms with on average 1.5 bathrooms, and most have large lots making it feel much more spacious and private than your average neighborhood!
If you’re starting a family your kids will attend Royal Manor Elementary, Gahanna Middle School West, and then Gahanna Lincoln High School; or private school in the form of Gahanna Christian Academy or Columbus Academy.
For entertainment, you won’t have to search long or far: this neighborhood is only a 5 minute drive to Easton Town Center, a 5 minute drive to Olde Gahanna, and enjoys quick access to 270 and 670 for a quick drive to anywhere in Columbus. You can also enjoy any of the abundant programs and parades Gahanna plays host to such as the Independence Day parade, Holiday Lights Festival, or the Jazz and Blues Festival!
Rose Run and Bryn Mawr Woods
Located together just off E Johnstown Rd, this neighborhood is perfect for the growing family. It offers homes that range from 350K to 450K, with the average home having 4 bedrooms and 2 and a half to 3 bathrooms, and most feature tall or vaulted ceilings with open floor plans. Situated just off Johnstown Rd this neighborhood is wooded creating a very private feel while also having direct access to all Gahanna has to offer.
If you’re starting a family or just growing bigger your kids will attend High Point Elementary, Gahanna Middle School East, and then Gahanna Lincoln High School; or private options include Gahanna Christian Academy or Columbus Academy.
For entertainment this neighborhood is close to everything, Easton is just a 10 minute drive, Stoneridge Plaza is only 5 minute, and features a neighborhood park self titled the Bryn Mawr Park running along the Rocky Fork River. This neighborhood has everything a new or growing family might need with its close proximity to schools, entertainment suitable for any age, and its location.
Situated between Taylor and Havens Corners Rd, this cozy little subdivision offers homes with an average price of 275K-375K, usually containing 4 bedrooms and 2 and a half bathrooms. This neighborhood is perfect for those looking to grow or for those looking for a starter home, since the homes tend to offer cozy floor plans and wooded backyards.
For those with kids they’ll attend: Lincoln Elementary, Gahanna Middle School South, and then Gahanna Lincoln High School. Private options will again include, Columbus Academy or Gahanna Christian Academy.
Again for entertainment or for those focused on work, this neighborhood is located off both Hamilton Rd and Havens Corners giving you direct access to Easton as well as quick access to both 270 and 670. Stoneridge also offers plenty of shopping, dining, and entertainment if Easton didn’t already have enough!
